Jawahir Cumar

Jawahir Cumar, the Chairwoman of the Stop Mutilation Association, took the initiative in building the new maternity clinic. Her commitment has convinced all of the following partners that they should invest their work, time and money in the reconstruction of a medical facility which is necessary for the life and survival of those in Somalia.

President of the Puntland Province
Mayor of Bosaaso

The President of the Puntland Province, Mohamud Muuse Hirsi, and the mayor of Bosaaso, Khadar Abdi Haji, have provided us with the property for the new maternity clinic in Bosaaso free of charge.

Vattenfall Europe AG

Vattenfall Europe has provided the most generous donation, so far 185,000 Euro, for the construction of the clinic. In addition, committed members of the staff oversee the progress of the building site.

The Soroptimists from Club Düsseldorf-Karlstadt support Jawahir Cumar in numerous ways to insure that the construction of the clinic continues.

SES - Senior Experten Service

The SES provided us the contact to the civil engineer Lothar Prietz from Berlin, who has supported the construction on the building site since February 2006.
